The New Burris 4X12 Eliminator Laser Scope

Personally, I'm a big fan of having gear that will perform more than one function. This allows me to save space, and carry less gear. Keeping this in mind, you can see why I was looking forward to testing the new Burris 4-12×42 Eliminator Laser scope.

This model was introduced at the 2010 SHOT, so I'm still waiting to get my hands on one to test. According to Burris, this bad boy will calculate range, and trajectory based on the caliber. I've always had great luck with Burris scopes, so I'm looking forward to testing it out.
The Eliminator is powered by a CR2 battery and comes complete with a remote that can attach to your rifle for easy activation of the scope. In an effort for even better accuracy, Burris is deploying this model with a new proprietary mounting system that keeps the scope very low over the barrel.
This scope gives you 50MOA adjustment, with .25 click values. Weight with battery is 26 oz., so it's not really any heavier than a traditional scope.
