I just saw on the manual (which is least explained manual i've ever seen on riflescope esp. for newcomers who's steping up to this type of riflescope) that 1 click = 1/8 inch @ 50 Yds and 1/4 inch @ 100 Yds.So if i want to zero my rifle at 100 yds then i should be taking the 1/4 MOA reference? If that's the case then why they have catagorized this particular type of riflescope as a 1/8 MOA riflescope? And if i wanna buy an accuscope zeroing card from www.accuscopeusa.com then what MOA card should i order to zero at 100 yds?

moa on that scope is measured @ 1/4″ @ 100 yds thats standard

    1 click = 1/4 MOA

    4 clicks = 1 MOA

1 MOA is a constant based on the angle of a triangle, with the shooter at the point which is a 1 minute of angle point (1/60th of a degree) and the base being two points. How wide the base is depends on how long the arms are.

At 50 yards 1 MOA = 0.5 inches so the base would be half an inch wide.
At 100 yards 1 MOA = 1 inch (well 1.04, but close enough)
    At 200 yards 1 MOA = 2 inches
    At 300 yards 1 MOA = 3 inches
    At 600 yards 1 MOA = 6 inches
    At 845 yards 1 MOA = 8.45 inches

    See a pattern?

a single click will move the crosshairs a fourth of this distance. NO need for a refrence card. The scope click will always move 1/4 MOA, but ifyou zero at 100 yards, each click will move it .25 inches.

your rifle is a 1/4 MOA no matter what distance. Those cards are for guy who don’t understand MOA.

All you need to remember is 1 MOA = 1 inch per 100 yards.
So 1 MOA for 420 yards = 4.2 inches. You just move the decimal point two spots over, and change yards to inches.

4 clicks = 1 MOA, so if you want to move less than that, it is pretty easy to see that 2 clicks at 420 yards would move the crosshairs 2.1 inches.
