I know that there are a number of rings out there, but this is the first time I will be setting up my own rifle so I have been trying to find out as much as possible. I saw that there are rings with one screw, an others with two, and there are single rings and ones that are a single piece. My concerns are accuracy and repeatability(precision) and obviously price. I do not know how these different ring characteristics affect accuracy and precision(on a .17hmr). Also I have read of problems fitting rings onto the model 93 savages. I would like to hear from someone who has successfully mounted a 40mm scope (or similiar size) onto a model 93 savage with enough clearance. If you have done this, or confidently know which rings would definitly work for this, please reply<br/><br/></div>
