thats wat ive found and look pretty good but im still open to options like nikions or a decent leupold and my price range is around 500$

this is where you come in

can you find me a scope around 400-600$ that has clear optics a mil-dot and variable zoom (Nikon Burris or Zeiss) ( a scope with turrets would be a +)

clarity is the most important

also anything you can tell me about the Burris XTR would be very helpful I am leaning towards this scope (as it has everything I want in a scope) but if the optics are not clear I dont want anything to do with it
-Personal experience is highly valued-
the Shepherd scope is cool but is outta my price range (at least for what I could find)

wow man thanx for the ammo link just when im thinking .243 now im back to .308 im thinking the wood stocked mossberg 100 atr with a burris full field 2 scope then 500 round of ammo but im easy to change my mind so keep up the good answers every one!
