I have just completed bedding a new 700 CDL that has a 50mm Burris scope and Leopold rings. Where can I find a sling that will complement my new rig yet be very functional.

    Just go to your local hunting and shooting store and ask the owner if it’s o.k. to bring your rifle inside to try some slings on it. The local shop I use has no problem with that as long as you ask before you bring it in.

    Get one for show at a gun shop, you know a pretty one; then get another one that fits comfortable just to hunt with.
