Is it a good scope I guess. You can get much better in that price range.

Rifle scopes are not for glassing the hill side nor are they for ranging objects. This violates both Rule 1 and Rule 2. If you did this with me on a hunt. You could kiss your rifle goodbye as I would take it and throw it off a cliff.

Why not get a good scope and then get yourself a pair of binos and a laser range finder if you want them. If you spot the game then laser it and then use the scope to confirm when you are on target that is cool. But there are too many out there buying big optics and using them as binos. That is WRONG.

Looks like a pretty cool scope however the only thing i noticed that would be a problem is that it only operates down to 14 degrees F which may not work for me cause i sometimes hunt in weather down to -20 degrees F so i dont think the money on the rangefinding would help me out much in that type of weather.

The scope looks OK but I would not hunt that way.

I usw binos to find the game and identify it. Then I use a range finder to range it. These two steps can be combined in a range finder.Bino Combo.

But honestly, scanning a hil with a scope is just not safe. The entire premis is that you will point your rifle at something to figure out what it is and how far it is, which means you may kill it while identifing it.

If that sounds mean, it shouldn’t. I’m just wondering if you really thought about that.

Another thing to consider is that if wither the scope OR the range finder break, you have to buy it again. If you have them seporate, you can replace the range finder as it breaks (and they all break, including those inside the scope).

Also, the hand healds are getting better all the time. The ecope will probably last forever but the range finders do not do well with shock.

    So,
if the idea of having someone with a loaded rifle put cross hairs on your chest does not **** you off while he checks how far you are, maybe the idea of more durable equipment will.

I have been scoped and personally, nothing raises my blood pressure more. Please opt for seporate scope/range finder and be a safer hunter.
